Each farm will be rated separately; walk lengths and terrain will differ.
NOTE: Bathroom facility is only available at Chase Farm. Have no fear, it’s next door to Butterfly Farm !
We start at Butterfly Farm. This is a great starter walk for those of you who are at the early stages of Get Up, Get Out. For you veterans of our blog, this is a welcome picnic spot for your family and friends. Stop by the farm stand for a few things to take home. This is an honor system farm. Be prepared with smaller bills and coins because you can’t get change back. A little extra in the box wouldn’t hurt. Show your support for the local farmers !
This is for Butterfly Farm. We’d list these as half a sneaker if we could ! Even though it’s a mini walk, it’s a great relaxation and picnic spot.

Next up is one farm you may be familiar with: Chase Farm !
NOTE: The length of this walk is entirely up to you. It can be a 4 sneaker advanced walk. But it can also a 1 sneaker short walk. Got a little more energy to spare ? Bump it up to a 2 sneaker hike ! Push it to 3 if you are up for the challenge. Then there’s the 4 sneaker advanced adventure… The WHOLE park ! We leave this decision in your hands and yours alone.
NOTE: Most of the park is a 1 shoelace easy terrain. The paths are clearly marked and I had no trouble with the rollator walker. You are also free to walk in the grassy plains. There are many surprise paths throughout the landscape to explore. These can be a 2 or even 3 rugged and challenging underfoot. So many paths to choose, so little time…
